Lovely Smile Premium Line Whitening Strips Review
Having a nice set of white teeth is something that is important to many people, including myself. Naturally, my teeth are not very white at all. In fact, if you look at the teeth color chart below I sit roughly at #7, which as you can see is slightly yellow with a dull tone. My coffee drinking habit probably doesn't help with that. Here is the problem I have with whitening my teeth: they are highly sensitive! Having teeth sensitivity makes the experience of whitening your teeth an uncomfortable one. I desired a whiter smile, but I had been avoiding whitening my teeth for some time until I gave Lovely Smile Premium Line Bright White Teeth Whitening Strips a try. Read on for a Lovely Smile Whitening Strips review so that you can make an informed decision before purchase.

The first thing I do when I open the package is compare my teeth to the color chart provided and figure out that I line up with #7, slightly yellow and dull. A color chart is handy to have because sometimes it is hard to notice a gradual change in whitening.
There are 2 strips in each package. The strips are easy to remove and easy to apply. I see the expiry date is 2 years from now. The expiry date is important to look at because the whitening gel may become ineffective if they are expired and sometimes this can be overlooked. If this is the case, they should be returned if possible.
The instructions are printed out on a small card and are nice and easy to follow. To be clear on which strip to use where (since there is some confusion over this):
The longer one is for upper teeth, the shorter one for your lower teeth.
White Strip Placement & Adhesive
I found that the strips stick to the teeth very well because of their non-slip technology. If I needed to adjust it a little while applying I could still do that with ease. The adhesive is strong enough that they do not move during application.
Although you can wear the strips for anywhere from 30 minutes to 2 hours, I chose to wear them for 1 hour because going over that amount of time does cause some sensitivity for me. However, if you do not experience teeth sensitivity, going for the full 2 hours will make the strips easier to take off after application and provide you with more whitening.
Removing the strips is more difficult if you choose a shorter application time. Once you have left the strips on for at least 60 minutes they become very easy to remove. They do leave behind a thick residue that you need to brush off. Once you start brushing the gel dissolves almost instantly and you are left with a fresh-feeling mouth and a pleasant mint flavor.
I noticed a few white marks on my teeth directly after removing the strips. These are very temporary, and likely due to water loss.

On day 1 after 10 minutes, I experienced slight sensitivity briefly and again after 25 minutes. After the 60 minute period the strips were fairly easy to remove and the sensitivity was gone. I only felt 2 brief twinges of sensitivity on day 1. I have used other whitening strips in the past and the sensitivity was strong so I was surprised how painless these were in comparison. I did not notice anymore sensitivity after day 1, which was very relieving.
As for whiter teeth, I did not notice anything after my 1st few applications. Because the hydrogen peroxide is at a lower percentage (6%) and I only wore them for 1 hour per day for the 2 week period, it does take longer to notice any whitening. It was day 5 that I started to notice my teeth looking brighter. After 14 days the end whitening result for me was an improvement of 2 shades, from #7 to #5. This is great considering I didn't use them for the full 2 hours that I could have. The results can last up to 1 year.
